Information for Patients

Everything you need to know before your visit to the MSK Clinic.

Your First Appointment

Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete paperwork. Your initial consultation will last approximately 45-60 minutes and includes a thorough history and physical examination. Please bring any relevant medical records, imaging reports (X-rays, MRI), and a list of your current medications.

Referrals

A referral from your GP, physiotherapist, or another specialist is required. This provides valuable background information and ensures continuity of care. We see patients under ACC, insurance or privately. Please bring your claim number and details with your referral.

Fees & Payment

For ACC claims, treatment is usually covered with no surcharge. We are a Southern Cross affiliated provider, and depending on your policy, there are often no charges. Some procedures may require pre-approval. For private referrals, fees will be communicated when booking.

Our Approach

We believe in a holistic, evidence-based approach. Treatment plans are tailored to your needs and may include advice on exercise, lifestyle modifications, manual therapy, and targeted injections where appropriate. We work closely with local health professionals.
